With these words echoing through my head I explored the steep slopes of the castle's Northern face.
The carrion crows had led me to a dark shadowed cliff ,strewn with human remains, some of them several winters dead.
It was there I found the broken mutilated body of the Prince's tutor.The ruby ring given to him in payment by the king for taking on such a difficult pupil.
Crouched examing the tutors body I felt I was being watched. Looking up I saw a figure silhouetted by torchlight...
Though I could not see see who it was, the malice and hate emanating from this person left me with little doubt that I was presence of the Prince.
